This door was designed to be a scene of the Yuba River near my home. The upper portion is the scene above the water looking upsteam into a pool. The lower section is the scene under the surface of the water with fish built up for a deep relief effect. The branch is a willow growing alongside the river. The carving design follows through into an extension of the design in a leaded glass window.
